My freshman year in high school, I decided to play softball. A year later, I was catching in the state tournament, and four years after that, I was the starting catcher on the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh softball team. Though I started later than most, I found my passion and turned it into a talent.

Fast forward a few years.

After spending eight years in the training and development world at Park Bank in Madison, Wisconsin, I moved into the marketing department. There’s no state tournament for marketing, but once again, I found my passion in creating content that resonates with our clients and supports our strategic business goals.

All that is to say – the world of promotional products may be new to me, but being new to something is, well…not new to me.

In my role as Content Strategist, I’ll be writing everything from emails to blogs to webpage copy, with the goal of providing great resources for Magellan Promotion clients (and future clients!) that help you achieve your goals, reach your target audience, and make you memorable!

What would be your baseball walk out song?

The Jurassic Park theme song. I’ve loved the movie since it came out – I even walked down the aisle at my wedding to the Piano Guys’ version of it!

If you could have dinner with anyone from history, who would it be?

Louis Zamperini. His story – from his childhood, to his experience in the Berlin Olympics, to his incredible survival story during WWII – is incredibly humbling.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be {blank}.

Super strength! My father-in-law already calls me “Pocket Hercules” because I love lifting weights, so it only seems fitting!

What was your favorite band/artist 10 years ago?

Eric Church – same as it is today!
