Drake University Uses a Mailable Flag to Surprise and Excite New Students

Drake University admissions was looking for a way to help new students maintain their level of excitement over the summer before the start of fall classes. They also wanted to help them express their pride in the university and be able to show-off their commitment.

The solution needed to be noticeable, durable, visible, and mailable. It also had to resonate with students so that they would use it. One product that fits these requirements is the 2’ x 3’ flag mailer. By prominently featuring their signature athletic mark, students were able to express their pride in attending Drake, while also extending the reach of the brand.

Available as a mailable kit (packaged in a polybag with an enclosed card), you can include messaging and calls-to-action for incoming students. With additional support for mail fulfillment, we can arrange to have the flags sent directly to students.

Postage Permits

We are happy to mail using a client’s USPS non-profit number. Here are a few best practices for this to go smoothly. Let our team know up front on the project so we can make sure to get the information we need right away. 

While our mail house does prefer to use their permit number for the mailing, we can use the client’s permit, If using their permit number, ensure there is enough postage to cover the mailing.
