Houghton College was refreshing their accepted student package to reimagine it as a way to celebrate each and every future student. College is a significant investment, and they wanted every student to feel proud about their accomplishment of being accepted to Houghton.
The items needed to be something students would enjoy receiving, and help them express their excitement about being admitted. So our team helped create a variety of promotional products to meet these specific goals, using complimentary designs and branding to create a unified set.
The final package included a number of items, including a premium magnet that made it easy for students to showcase their acceptance letter on the fridge (while working as a reminder of Houghton). The rollabana provided an unexpectedly large canvas for helping students share their acceptance on social media by posing with the rolled out banner. It can also be used along with the balloon for high school graduation parties. Wearing the button and using the decals on cars or a variety of devices provides students with a way to share and show their Houghton College pride.
Boxed by the team at Houghton, these items were placed on a bed of purple and gold paper, with an acceptance letter on heavyweight paper that featured the college’s logo embossed with gold foil. Since using this new pack, the team has received a steady amount of positive feedback from students and parents. Houghton alumni who work with seniors as high school counselors were also extremely impressed!
