What is the Magellan Virtual Product Showcase?
It is a free, interactive and personal way to visually learn about a wide range of new and trending promotional products in a short period of time. We know your time is valuable, so we keep the event on a tight schedule to maximize learning opportunities without taking too much of the day. Our goal is to help you discover why products are trending and gain ideas for future projects.
How will the event work?
We will be presenting the same showcase 4 times on Thursday, April 22, 2021, to allow attendees to choose the time of the day that will work best for their schedule. So attendees only need to attend one session since all will be similar. Additional details:
- Attendees sign up for one of the four sessions
- Each session is 1 hour and 15 minutes
- Each session will be limited to 48 attendees, each being placed within a smaller breakout group (no more than eight)
- This small group will have six different presenters visit the group for about 10 minutes each to do a virtual “show and tell” on their line of products
- Each presenter will virtually show the products and discuss why it is trending
- There will be time for attendees to ask questions to each presenter
- The software platform for the showcase is Zoom.
Wait, did I hear there’s a chance to get cool products?
Yes, that is correct! As supplies last, registered attendees will receive a box of cool and fun promotional products mailed prior to the event! Don’t wait! Sign up right away.
What products will be featured?
The products featured during the event will include apparel, hats, socks, drinkware, tech accessories, packaging, PPE, stickers, bags and much more.
Who should attend?
This event is for anyone considering using promotional products as part of their engagement strategy, as well as professionals in marketing roles. We created this event to help show what is new and trending in a time effective manner.
Can more than one person from my department attend?
Yes, you can have multiple attendees from your department attend! Due to the popularity of the event, we may be limiting the pre-event promo box to one person per department.
Who is the cool guy you are interviewing for the education component?
We love to not just talk about products, but ways to use the products to produce effective solutions. To end the showcase on a high note, at 3:30pm (CT) we will put on a free, 30-minute education session, with an outstanding special guest (with amazing hair) that will focus on how promotional products fit into marketing plans in this digital world. Learn more and sign up for this education session titled, “Igniting Engagement Through Tactile Experiences.”
Why sign up now?
We are limiting the event size to keep it a personal experience, thus we strongly encourage attendees to sign up ASAP to secure their spot.

In 2019, vinyl album sales increased by 19% to the shock and amazement of the digital music world. Beneath the overwhelming deluge of digital solutions and big-box answers, tactile experiences through smaller touchpoints have made a comeback for good reason: creating tactile experiences builds emotional connections and creates affinity between people, communities, and brands. In this free 30 minute session, Michael Wolaver (Captain of Magellan Promotions) and Bobby Lehew (Chief Content Officer at commonsku) will discuss how promotional merchandise is on the rise and why. During the time of COVID, many brands are finding promotional products as a way to reconnect in their disconnected world, and how those experiences can help build unity, bring delight, and ignite engagement. We’ll discuss the key touchpoints that matter when building promo experiences for audiences, how branded merchandise helps build affinity, plus how integrating with other media helps build a full sensory experience!
We have a 100 attendee limit for this event, so sign up below to reserve your spot!
