Keep the Excitement Going with Committed Students

There has never been a collegiate recruitment cycle more challenging than this one for many institutions. Yielding a class was already difficult before COVID reared its ugly head. Now recruitment offices need to meet their recruitment goals while having to shift to new tactics.   While digital communication has its place and purpose, a comprehensive marketing plan needs to include opportunities for physical connections. During COVID, promotional products provide an opportunity to create long-term physical connections. As our proprietary research demonstrated, promotional products integrated into the recruitment process are influential inRead more »

Stocking a Local Community Closet to Help Provide Warmth and Comfort

Core to our company’s mission of building community through promotional products, we find ways to give back throughout the year. This winter season, our team partnered locally with James E. Dottke Project-Based Learning High School to provide apparel for their Community Closet. Open to students, families, and the neighborhood, Dottke students actively manage the closet to provide clothing, food, and essential hygiene items.  After contacting our production partners about this opportunity, we received many thoughtful donations of t-shirts, polos, pants, sweatpants, sweatshirts, hats, baby clothes, and backpacks. Making an Impact on #GivingTuesday

Every year, the team at Magellan Promotions gets involved with Giving Tuesday by donating to causes and charities that we find important. When I went to Marquette University, all of my close friends were white and did not have much of a multicultural experience. I was on the sailing team and one of my teammates onceRead more »

Giving Tuesday Generosity

Giving Tuesday, the kick off of the charitable giving season, has occurred the day after Cyber Monday each year since 2012. This year’s Giving Tuesday total is expected to increase by 26% and Magellan Promotions is again doing its part to participate in this global generosity movement. Our team got involved by donating to our favorite causes and charities, encouraged by a matching contribution from Magellan Promotions. With 100% team participation, here’s where we each donated, and a little background on why we chose that organization. The Sierra Club SupportedRead more »

Warming the Community This Winter

There are many things we’re grateful for this Thanksgiving and chief among them was the opportunity to help dozens of children and homeless individuals get the warm clothing they need for winter. In gratitude for receiving a Future 50 Award this year from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce, Magellan Promotions wanted to pay it forward and give back to our community. We learned that our local school district hosts community closets in various schools where students in need can pick up a jacket or whatever else is necessary toRead more »
